In a dramatic turn of events, a police constable in Bihar's Vaishali district was left injured when a police raid spiraled into chaos. This occurred after the death of Rajendra Paswan, a 50-year-old villager, who succumbed to his injuries during the action.
The raid, aimed at curbing illegal liquor trading, turned violent as angry villagers began pelting stones at the police forces. A police vehicle was also damaged in the confrontation, as officials were forced to call for backup to control the situation.
The incident, now under investigation, also led to a viral video release showing the police managing the crowd with a lathi charge, though police denied such actions. Paswan's body has been sent for post-mortem examination.
