Karnataka Summit Champions Innovation for Water Security

Karnataka Minister Priyank Kharge has reaffirmed the state's dedication to utilizing innovative technologies to guarantee sustainable access to clean water and proper sanitation for all residents.

Speaking at the 'Harnessing Innovation for a Water Secure Future' summit, Kharge emphasized the importance of collaboration among stakeholders to confront water scarcity issues, particularly in the state's rural regions. The summit unites government officials, industry experts, entrepreneurs, and researchers in pursuit of effective solutions.

A highlight of the summit includes a pitching session for selected startups, offering a minimum funding of Rs 25 lakh, providing an opportunity to pilot their solutions. The gathering aims at formulating long-term strategies to better public health and empower rural communities, with the support of international expertise.
