Haryana's minister, Anil Vij, submitted a detailed response to a show cause notice from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), addressing his recent remarks about Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini and head of the state unit, Mohan Lal Badoli. The notice was a result of an alleged breach in party discipline.
Speaking on the issue, Vij disclosed he had just returned from Bengaluru and completed his reply ahead of the deadline. He indicated readiness to provide more information if required by the party but questioned how the confidential notice was leaked to the media.
Vij has been vocal against the party's current administration and has challenged both the internal discipline and party's image. With past controversial statements and criticisms, particularly towards Saini and Badoli, Vij remains a persistent dissenting voice within the BJP's ranks in Haryana.
