Rahul Gandhi, Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha, commended Chief Minister Revanth Reddy for the swift and decisive rescue operations following the Srisailam Left Bank Canal tunnel collapse.

Gandhi appreciated the round-the-clock monitoring and urged the government to ensure all possible measures are taken to save the trapped workers, according to an official statement.

Chief Minister Reddy highlighted the immediate dispatch of Minister Uttam Reddy and the deployment of NDRF and SDRF teams to the site. Efforts continue to rescue eight individuals trapped for over 24 hours in the Nagarkurnool District tunnel collapse.
