Diplomatic Dialogues: Key Talks Between U.S. and Russia in Istanbul
High-ranking officials from the U.S. and Russia have convened in Istanbul to discuss issues related to their embassies. The talks feature prominent diplomats like Sonata Coulter and Aleksandr Darchiyev and include members from both countries' foreign affairs departments and embassies.

A Russian delegation has arrived at the U.S. Consul General's residence in Istanbul to engage in critical discussions. The talks aim to resolve bilateral matters concerning the operations of the embassies of both countries, according to a Reuters witness on Thursday.
The U.S. team is led by Deputy Assistant Secretary of State Sonata Coulter, while the Russian side is headed by Aleksandr Darchiyev. Darchiyev is the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Director of the North Atlantic Department and Russia's ambassador-designate to the United States.
Officials from the U.S. State Department and the Russian Foreign Ministry, as well as representatives from their respective embassies, are also participating in the discussions, as confirmed by a U.S. official.
