Fire Contained in Samara After Suspected Drone Attack

Authorities are close to extinguishing a significant blaze in a Samara warehouse, following an overnight drone attack allegedly launched by Ukraine, as reported by various media and officials on Monday.

Russia's emergency ministry communicated via Telegram that there were no injuries resulting from the fire in Novokuibyshevsk. The fire was confined to an area of 1,600 square meters, primarily involving a warehouse.

The defense ministry claimed that Russian air defense systems neutralized three drones in the Samara region. While the Novokuibyshevsk oil refinery was mentioned in connection with the attack, evidence implicating Ukrainian drones was not provided.
