Jharkhand Revenue and Land Reforms Minister Dipak Birua announced in the state assembly a new initiative to impose commercial taxes on lands used for business. This move aims to increase transparency and address land-related issues affecting law and order.

In an effort to curb the rising number of road accidents, Birua expressed the government's plan to introduce road safety education in schools. Breath analyzers were distributed across 15 districts to address driving under the influence.

The assembly session witnessed a disruption when BJP legislators staged a walkout, protesting alleged lack of opportunity to speak, and raising corruption charges within the Road Construction Department, which were contested by ruling party members.
