In response to increasing drug-related violence, the Kerala Police will strengthen their anti-drug campaign with enhanced inspections and collaboration efforts focusing on educational institutions, migrant camps, and public events. Strategic coordination with various agencies and state-level initiatives will aid in curbing drug abuse and ensuring public safety.

The Kerala Police are ramping up their anti-drug efforts in light of a spike in violence linked to drug abuse, as revealed in a high-level meeting chaired by ADGP Manoj Abraham. The focus will be on stringent inspections statewide, targeting shops, educational institutions, and known drug-related offenders' hideouts.

Migrant workers' camps and DJ parties at hotels reportedly involved in drug activities will undergo thorough checks. Efforts will be coordinated with local railway police, deploying sniffer dogs at stations to halt drug smuggling from northern Indian states. Intelligence gathering on drug trade through the darknet will be intensified by the Cyberdome team and Technical Intelligence Wing.

Additional measures include reactivating the 'Janamaithri' project to foster community solidarity against drug abuse. Schools will see a revival of initiatives like 'Clean Campus-Safe Campus' to spread awareness. The meeting, attended by various police officials, stressed monthly assessments of campaign progress.
