Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Yogi Adityanath, has mandated permanent noise control measures for loudspeakers at religious sites, as well as a ban on high-volume DJs during the Holi festival. These directives came during a review of development projects and law and order at the Circuit House.
Adityanath instructed officials to ensure the installation of CCTV cameras at critical locations, including banks, shops, and financial institutions. He also emphasized the need for stringent monitoring of cattle smuggling, warning of stern consequences for offenders, including smugglers, vehicle owners, and any corrupt police officers.
Looking ahead, the Chief Minister prioritized development initiatives, urging prompt progress and quality assurance. Among proposed measures are the beautification of flyover pillars with artistic works, enhanced street vendor zones, and improved facilities at wheat procurement centers. Furthermore, he announced plans for hostels and canteens for working women, alongside strict security measures during Holi celebrations.
