In a dramatic address to the Maharashtra legislative council, Ambadas Danve, Leader of Opposition, launched serious allegations against individuals involved in IPL match betting.
Danve revealed he possessed evidence implicating individuals, including connections with Pakistani players, allegedly shielded by Mumbai police. He highlights an alarming 7,82,960 crime reports in 2024.
Concerningly, Danve underscored prison overcrowding, substantial financial frauds worth Rs 51,000 crore, and the withholding of state crime reports, urging immediate government response to address these escalating issues.
