A police constable in Jaipur, identified as Surendra Singh, has been arrested after a video of him verbally abusing the Jaipur police commissioner and other officers went viral, officials reported on Tuesday.

The arrest occurred following a complaint by an individual named Harji Khateek, according to Assistant Commissioner of Police Ashok Nagar Balaram. Khateek was among those abused in the controversial video footage.

Surendra Singh, who was stationed in the police line, was promptly suspended once the offensive video circulated. As the investigation continues, authorities are questioning Singh in relation to the incident.
