The true nature of the blast continues to be under investigation, while video footage depicts a scene of chaos and destruction with a flaming motorcycle and charred police vehicle.

No group has yet claimed responsibility, but the Balochistan Liberation Army is often linked to similar attacks. This incident follows recent violence including the hijacking of the Jaffar Express and heightened tensions in the province. The Interior Minister condemned the attack, pledging to counteract these efforts to destabilize Balochistan.
