Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma emphasized Rajasthan's commitment to poverty eradication, aligning with Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay's Antyodaya principle. Announced initiatives include lifting BPL families above the poverty line in 5,000 villages, a budgeted move underscored by a Rs 300 crore allocation.
Sharma highlighted empowerment schemes for women and girls, such as the Lado Protsahan Yojana and the Lakhpati Didi Yojana. The government's efforts extend to nomadic communities through the Dadu Dayal Ghumantu Empowerment Scheme, ensuring financial independence and development.
Taking a jab at the previous administration's paper leak scandals, Sharma assured transparent employment avenues under his leadership. In a significant step, Rs 100 crore was transferred to construction workers, alongside valuable resources distributed to the disabled and artists during Rajasthan Day celebrations.
