In a chilling incident in Madhya Pradesh's Rewa district, a 23-year-old man allegedly murdered an individual over an old dispute, police reported Thursday. The gruesome act was filmed by the assailant's accomplice and posted on social media.
The attack occurred Wednesday in a forest near Bhaukheri village, approximately 50 kilometers from the district headquarters. Authorities have detained one suspect and have identified the main perpetrator as Rajnish Mishra. His accomplice, Rajkumar Kewat, recorded the killing on video.
Superintendent of Police Vivek Singh informed that the victim, Abhishek Tripathi, was lured to the location by Rajnish's brother, Gollu Mishra. The murder is suspected to be due to a renewed disagreement between the assailant and the victim, despite their recent reconciliation. Investigations are ongoing, and efforts are underway to apprehend the accused pair.
