The Press Information Bureau's Fact Check Unit confirmed there was no 'fidayeen' attack on any Army cantonment in Jammu and Kashmir. The Jalandhar incident was fact-checked as a farm fire, debunking the drone attack narrative.
Amid soaring tensions between India and Pakistan, the Ministry of Defence released clarified details on the false reports. The PIB urges reliance on verified sources to prevent the spread of disinformation.
