In response to the ongoing military tensions between India and Pakistan, Odisha has ramped up security measures along its coastline and around critical sites, including Chandipur's missile testing facility and the revered Jagannath temple in Puri.
Announcing the heightened security measures, Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi emphasized that despite Odisha's geographical distance from the Pakistan border, there is a perceived threat emanating from the Bay of Bengal.
The Odisha government, working closely with the central authorities, has reinforced protective protocols to secure vital assets while advising citizens to remain vigilant but not panic.
