China and Kazakhstan: Strengthening Ties for a Prosperous Future

China and Kazakhstan have agreed on multiple cooperation documents to enhance trade, investment, tech, tourism, and customs, with Chinese President Xi Jinping meeting Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev. Xi emphasized multilateralism, infrastructure projects, and collaborative defense efforts against terrorism, separatism, and extremism.

China and Kazakhstan solidified their bilateral relationship by signing cooperation documents in various sectors including trade, investment, technology, tourism, and customs. This development came as Chinese President Xi Jinping met with Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev in Astana, according to China's Xinhua news agency.

President Xi advocated for the two countries to champion multilateralism and protect the shared interests of developing nations. He highlighted the importance of cross-border railway projects and port infrastructure modernization, urging both countries to spearhead these initiatives together.
