In a statement on Monday, Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister D K Shivakumar alleged that the Enforcement Directorate (ED) is being exploited for political gains, using his own experiences to support his claims.
Addressing reporters in Kodihalli, Kanakapura, Shivakumar highlighted the Supreme Court's stance in the MUDA case, which he said exposes a trend of selective persecution by the agency.
Drawing attention to cases against Congress figures like Rahul and Sonia Gandhi, Shivakumar questioned the absence of investigations against BJP leaders, insinuating a political bias in the ED's actions.
