Amidst heightened tensions, Cambodia stands accused of breaching a ceasefire agreement by conducting attacks across several locations, a Thai army representative reported on Tuesday. The ceasefire, which both countries had agreed to just a day prior, was to commence at midnight.

In response to these alleged breaches, Thai troops have engaged in proportional retaliation, which they claim is an act of self-defense, Major General Winthai Suvaree stated.
