Social Media Trust Shattered: Teen Rape Case in Panipat

A 16-year-old resident of Panipat, Haryana, became the victim of an alleged rape after establishing a connection with a young man on the social media platform Instagram.

The accused reportedly traveled to Panipat to meet the girl, subsequently picking her up outside her school and taking her to a hotel in Saharanpur.

It was there that the crime occurred, after which the perpetrator returned the young girl to Panipat. The incident was reported to police by the victim's family, and an ongoing investigation aims to uncover more details.
