Sweden Soars with Thailand's New Fighter Jet Order

Sweden has signed a deal to sell four Gripen fighter jets to Thailand, strengthening Swedish warplane capabilities. The order, worth approximately 5.3 billion crowns, includes three Gripen E jets and one Gripen F, along with necessary equipment and training. Deliveries are scheduled from 2025 to 2030.

Sweden has signed a significant contract to supply Thailand with four Gripen fighter jets, manufactured by Saab, in a move that bolsters the development prospects for Swedish military aircraft.

The deal, valued at approximately 5.3 billion crowns or roughly $556 million, encompasses three Gripen E jets, one Gripen F, and includes essential equipment and training.

Deliveries for the order are expected between 2025 and 2030. Saab shares enjoyed a 3% increase following the announcement, signaling strong market confidence in the transaction.
