Evidence pointed to a criminal scheme executed by party members, highlighting Russian influence. Cash worth USD 50,000 and documents were seized, with additional sums laundered via cryptocurrencies.

Moldova, caught between European aspirations and Russian ties, sees its sovereignty threatened amid accusations of hybrid warfare undertaken by Russia.
