A tragic incident unfolded in Maharashtra's Thane district where a 25-year-old man was allegedly killed by a group of friends following a dispute, police reported on Sunday.
The altercation, which resulted in the arrest of three brothers, occurred at New Azad Nagar locality in Bhiwandi town late Saturday night.
According to Shanti Nagar police, the group was walking home when the quarrel erupted over a previous issue, culminating in the fatal beating of the victim. Authorities have charged five individuals with murder and have detained three thus far.
