Missile Chaos: Ukraine Under Siege Amid Rising Tensions
A massive attack involving missiles and drones hit Ukraine, with fatalities and infrastructure damage reported across various regions. In a significant escalation, Russia launched a barrage of missiles and drones on Ukraine, leaving at least five dead and critical infrastructure crippled across several regions, officials reported on Sunday.
Lviv, bordering Poland, saw extensive damage, with parts of the city plunged into darkness and an industrial park set ablaze. Lviv mayor Andriy Sadovyi urged residents to remain indoors as authorities tackled multiple fires unleashed by the overnight attack.
Poland, a NATO member, reacted swiftly, deploying aircraft to ensure air safety amid heightened alerts after recent drone incursions. In Lithuania, flights were rerouted due to security threats, indicating broader regional concerns over escalating conflicts.
