Karnataka Minister Priyank Kharge has reported a series of threatening phone calls directed at him and his family following his outspoken stance against RSS activities in government-run educational and public institutions.
Undeterred by these threats, Kharge, son of Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge, remains firm in his resolve, likening the situation to historical tensions with figures like Mahatma Gandhi and Babasaheb Ambedkar.
Kharge calls for a societal transformation rooted in equality, reason, and compassion, inspired by Buddha, Basavanna, and Babasaheb, while urging the Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah to ban RSS meetings in schools and public spaces, which he believes undermine India's constitutional values.
