Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has urged the United States and other nations to compel Israel to adhere to the Gaza ceasefire agreement. He suggested that measures such as sanctions or the suspension of arms sales could be utilized to achieve this goal.
Speaking to reporters during his flight back from Oman, Erdogan emphasized that the Palestinian group Hamas was complying with the ceasefire terms. He urged international partners to push for similar adherence from Israel.
Erdogan also indicated Turkey's readiness to provide support for the planned Gaza task force, aiming to ensure the ceasefire's effectiveness and stability in the region.
