In Srinagar, security measures have significantly improved, according to CRPF Inspector General, Pawan Kumar Sharma. Coordinated efforts by the CRPF, Jammu and Kashmir Police, and the army are contributing to peace in the region.
Sharma detailed these collaborative measures during a recent media interaction, highlighting proactive steps taken for security. This comes in the wake of targeted raids by the Counter-Intelligence wing in a terror conspiracy investigation, unrelated to a previous explosion incident.
Apart from security, the CRPF is cultivating youth engagement through cricket, aiming to connect with the community and maintain peace. The annual tournament attracts young players and sees strong local participation, fostering enthusiasm among the youth.
