In a decisive move, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has ordered all district magistrates to take stringent measures against illegal immigrants, as per an official announcement on Saturday.
Emphasizing that law and order, national security, and social harmony are paramount, Adityanath declared a zero-tolerance policy for unlawful activities.
The chief minister's directive includes identifying illegal immigrants and establishing temporary detention centers in each district. These facilities will house foreign citizens until verification, after which deportation procedures will commence.
