India and U.S. Seal ₹79.95 Billion Helicopter Deal

India and the United States have struck a significant deal worth ₹79.95 billion, equivalently $893.81 million, to support the maintenance of the Indian Navy’s MH60R helicopters. This agreement underscores the strengthening defense ties between the two nations, as reported by the Indian defense ministry.

In a major boost to Indo-U.S. defense relations, India has signed agreements valued at ₹79.95 billion ($893.81 million) with the United States.

These agreements are focused on the maintenance and support of the Indian Navy’s fleet of advanced MH60R helicopters, enhancing operational readiness.

The Indian defense ministry disclosed this development, highlighting the strategic importance of such collaborations in fortifying naval capabilities.
