In a bid to drive India towards becoming a developed nation, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday urged citizens to adopt nine transformative oaths. Speaking at the iconic Sri Krishna temple complex, Modi highlighted initiatives concerning environmental conservation, economic self-reliance, and cultural preservation.

Among the commitments, the Prime Minister emphasized water conservation, tree planting, promoting 'Swadeshi', and self-reliance under the mantra of 'Atmanirbhar Bharat'. He encouraged planting trees as a tribute to mothers, a gesture gaining momentum nationwide.

Modi also called for a push towards organic farming, dietary health through millet consumption, yoga practice, and the valorization of ancient scripts. Concluding his appeal, Modi urged visits to cultural heritage sites, asserting the potential influence of religious leaders in propagating these ideals.
