The Allahabad High Court has refused to grant bail to Xue Fei Koei, a Chinese national accused of possessing fake Indian documents. The decision comes amidst concerns about potential illegal exit from the country, citing India's lack of an extradition treaty with China as a significant factor.

Justice Arun Kumar Singh Deshwal highlighted the precarious India-China relationship and mentioned another co-accused who managed to flee India and remains untraceable. The court noted Koei may also pose an economic threat given his alleged involvement in illicit activities, such as the unauthorized export of mobile components.

Investigations revealed Koei stayed in India using a forged identity, tampered with his visa, and rented a flat under false pretenses. His arrest followed a crackdown on Chinese nationals illegally entering India via the Nepal border, based on intelligence gleaned from detained individuals, Yuyan Heyang and Loo Long.
