A tragic road accident in Pune's Hinjewadi area claimed the lives of a 6-year-old boy and his 8-year-old sister, leaving their younger sister critically injured. The incident occurred when a bus veered onto a footpath, striking five pedestrians.
The driver, who was allegedly intoxicated, has been taken into custody by law enforcement officials in Hinjewadi. Authorities are proceeding with legal action against the driver responsible for the heartbreaking incident.
The unfortunate event involved a private firm's bus on Monday evening. Among the victims were three siblings who were returning home from school. The community mourns the loss while two additional pedestrians, also hurt in the crash, receive medical care.
