In an effort to curb illegal firearm distribution, the Delhi Police have dismantled a network operating between Delhi and Uttar Pradesh, apprehending four suspects.
The operation commenced after a tip-off about a scheduled gun deal in Model Town, leading to the arrest of a key figure, Babu, and recovery of firearms.
Subsequent interrogations led to the capture of Santosh and Azeem, exposing a sophisticated supply chain from Aligarh. The police seized a total of eight pistols and 30 live cartridges amidst ongoing investigations.
