In a significant move to preserve the legacy of social reformer Baba Saheb Bhimrao Ambedkar, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has pledged to build protective boundary walls around his statues throughout the state.
Addressing the 'Mahaparinirvaan Diwas' program in Lucknow, Adityanath condemned the frequent vandalism of Ambedkar's statues by mischievous elements and unveiled plans for their protection. The initiative includes installing canopies over statues without roofs to ensure their respectful preservation.
Additionally, the Chief Minister highlighted ongoing efforts to enhance connectivity for every slum and Dalit settlement, affirming the government's commitment to link all unconnected areas with proper infrastructure.
