The Delhi High Court has announced that it will hear a plea on December 10, filed to seek government intervention regarding the cancellation of hundreds of flights by IndiGo, which left numerous passengers in a lurch.
The petition was brought before a bench comprising Chief Justice Devendra Kumar Upadhyaya and Justice Tushar Rao Gedela. The petitioner's counsel emphasized the urgency, describing airport conditions as 'inhumane' and indicating the absence of systematic refund procedures.
Despite government directives on the issue, IndiGo's operational crisis persists. Sources revealed that on Monday alone, the airline cancelled over 250 flights, with significant disruptions at Delhi and Bengaluru airports.
