Justice Served: Janjaweed Leader Sentenced for Darfur Atrocities

The International Criminal Court (ICC) sentenced a prominent Janjaweed leader, Ali Muhammad Ali Abd-Al-Rahman, known as Ali Kushayb, to 20 years in prison on Tuesday.
Abd-Al-Rahman was convicted on multiple charges, including 27 counts of war crimes and crimes against humanity, for his role in the Darfur conflict.
The atrocities, which took place more than 20 years ago, involved murder, torture, and the systematic use of rape orchestrated by the Janjaweed militia, highlighting a dark chapter in Sudan's history.
