The U.S. Justice Department has unveiled new federal criminal charges against a Ukrainian national linked to cyberattacks. Victoria Eduardovna Dubranova, 33, is accused of participating in cyber intrusions against key infrastructure in the interest of Russian entities.
Dubranova was extradited to the U.S. earlier this year, facing charges tied to a group called the CyberArmyofRussia_Reborn, or CARR. The Ukrainian national has pleaded not guilty to all charges, and her trial is scheduled for February 2026 and April for the respective cases.
Assistant Attorney General John Eisenberg emphasized the department's focus on confronting Russian cyber activities. The Justice Department alleges Russian backing for CARR and NoName, with rewards offered for information on these groups. The alleged cyberattacks have raised national security concerns.
