A shocking incident unfolded at a government school on Thursday when a teacher was reportedly attacked by her husband. Police identified the victim as Donia, employed at the Government LP School, Peroor South.

According to authorities, the suspect, Kochumon, initially visited the school asking for his wife but returned to confront her during her teaching hours. The altercation escalated in the staff room, where Kochumon allegedly attacked Donia with a knife, inflicting neck injuries.

Despite her injuries, Donia managed to seek aid from fellow teachers, as Kochumon fled the scene. Police have assured that Donia's condition is stable, and a formal case will be filed based on her account.
