In a heated session of the Lok Sabha on Thursday, BJP leader Nishikant Dubey launched accusations of large-scale corruption against Rahul Gandhi and Sonia Gandhi, leading to uproarious protests from opposition members.
Dubey accused the Gandhi family of acquiring property worth Rs 2,000 crore from Associated Journals Limited for a mere Rs 50 lakh, escalating tensions in the House.
Amidst the ruckus, House proceedings were suspended by BJP leader Dilip Saikia. Separately, Congress members called for improved train links to Mumbai and Pune and sought increased involvement in national agriculture programs.
