In a significant crackdown, the Anti-Narcotics Task Force in Lucknow dismantled a major illegal drug-manufacturing unit on Saturday. Drugs valued at more than Rs one crore were seized during the operation, according to police. Vijay Kumar Dubey, identified as the owner, was apprehended during the raid.

Officials disclosed that a joint operation involving the ANTF and local police led to the discovery of the factory in Majhuda village. A significant quantity of MDMA, a psychotropic drug popular at rave parties, was seized, along with various chemicals and machinery.

An FIR has been registered against Dubey and his associate, Prajwal Mishra, who remains at large. Authorities revealed that investigations are underway to apprehend the absconding suspect while continuing to trace the supply chain.
