Juvenile Revolver Incident Shocks Odisha School

A 14-year-old boy from Kendrapara, Odisha, has been taken into custody by police after reportedly brandishing a country-made revolver at his school headmaster. The incident occurred following rebukes from the headmaster and teachers at Korua High School for his academic negligence and classroom misconduct.

The student, a Class-9 attendee, was presented before the Juvenile Justice Board. Subsequently, he was sent to the Probation Hostel-cum-Observation Home & Special Home in Angul. The police have initiated an investigation to determine how the minor obtained the weapon.

Law enforcement has seized the revolver and continues to question the boy's parents and relatives about the origins of the firearm. The investigation remains ongoing as authorities aim to understand the circumstances surrounding the incident.
