IGI Airport Officials Bust Major Narcotics Smuggling Operation

In a significant breakthrough, customs officials at Indira Gandhi International Airport have intercepted and arrested six individuals involved in a high-stakes narcotics smuggling operation.

The suspects, who arrived in New Delhi from Bangkok on December 11, were caught with narcotics worth a staggering Rs 48 crore.

The operation uncovered 24 polythene pouches of a green substance, preliminarily identified as ganja/marijuana, hidden within their baggage, totaling 48.016 kg.
