In a significant move to enhance disaster preparedness, Arunachal Pradesh has trained 152 NCC cadets to assist during emergencies.

The cadets, who underwent rigorous training at Dera Natung Government College, are now equipped to support authorities with essential skills in disaster response.

Officials emphasized that the training covered critical areas such as theoretical and practical disaster preparedness, search and rescue operations, and collaboration with civil authorities, focusing on region-specific challenges like earthquakes and floods.
