A tragic incident occurred in Bhiwandi town when a 50-year-old firefighter, Nitin Pashte, was electrocuted to death while attempting to save a crow entangled in a high-tension power line, according to a senior officer on Thursday.
Pashte, a dedicated member of the Bhiwandi-Nizampur Municipal Corporation (BNMC)'s fire services for 18 years, was responding to a distress call about the trapped crow at Temghar.
