Pakistani Forces Neutralize Terror Threat in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa

Pakistani security forces eliminated 13 terrorists in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa during recent operations. These actions were part of ongoing efforts to combat rising militant threats. Significant operations in the Bannu and Kurram districts resulted in multiple militant fatalities, highlighting the country's efforts to secure its regions from escalating terrorism activities.

In a decisive move against terrorism, Pakistani security forces successfully neutralized 13 terrorists in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa through two separate operations, as confirmed by the military's media wing, Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), on Thursday.

The operations targeted members of Fitna Al Khawarij, linked to the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP). In Bannu district, an intelligence-driven operation resulted in the deaths of eight militants. A parallel operation in Kurram district saw five more terrorists being neutralized.

These operations are part of Pakistan's broader strategy to combat the rising tide of terrorism. Despite the success in reducing threats, the country recorded a 34% increase in terrorist attacks in 2025, underscoring the ongoing challenge faced by the nation's security forces.
