The district administration imposed prohibitory orders and suspended internet services until 6 pm on Friday to prevent further unrest. Authorities are pursuing additional suspects identified through CCTV footage, while nine platoons of armed forces have already been deployed in the area.

The altercation initially erupted over a dispute regarding food items at a local market, escalating into violence with both groups using weapons and throwing stones. Officials have banned gatherings and protests, reaching out to community leaders to foster peace. Sundargarh SP Amrit Pal Kaur has assured that the situation is under control with security personnel stationed across vital areas.
