The allegations emerged from incidents in Cameroon, where Satguru Travel initiated formal complaints in line with Cameroonian law. The Douala Territorial Gendarmerie Group, under the National Gendarmerie, and the Ministry of Defence were involved, leading to an official report. The Indian High Commission in Cameroon was kept informed throughout the process.
