In a chilling discovery on Monday, police in Amethi district were alerted to the presence of an unidentified man's body in the Sharda Sahayak Canal. Local villagers near Bandhwa village reported the finding, prompting a swift response from authorities.

Officers from the Jamo Police Station, led by Station House Officer Vinod Kumar Singh, arrived at the scene to recover the body, which is assumed to belong to a man aged between 50 and 55 years. The body has now been sent for a post-mortem examination.
