Union Minister Ramdas Athawale reaffirmed the central government's commitment to equitable development, addressing allegations of fund discrimination against Jharkhand. Speaking at a press conference, Athawale emphasized the Narendra Modi administration's guiding principle of 'Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas' for inclusive growth.

He countered claims of bias by highlighting key achievements: 57.3 crore Jan Dhan accounts opened nationwide, 2.2 crore in Jharkhand, and loans extended to 56.31 crore beneficiaries under the Mudra scheme, 1.65 crore of whom are from Jharkhand. Additionally, over 39.19 lakh LPG connections and 1.65 lakh houses were provided in the state under various governmental schemes.

Athawale also addressed pending scholarships for OBC students with Jharkhand's ST, SC, and OBC Welfare Minister, confirming the funds' imminent release. Announcing the establishment of an RPI-A unit in Jharkhand, he introduced state leadership while expressing optimism about the BJP-led NDA's prospects in the upcoming West Bengal elections.
