Army's Flag March Restores Calm in Violence-Hit Kokrajhar

With four Army columns deployed, alongside the Rapid Action Force, CRPF, and Assam Police, security forces ensured patrolling in sensitive areas to prevent further incidents. As local leaders, including two state ministers, held peace meetings, the overall situation began returning to normal.

Authorities established relief camps for over 1,200 displaced individuals and initiated prohibition orders in the area. As security forces work towards restoring trust and order, investigations continue to determine any potential militant links to the unrest.
